Q. I currently spend a lot of time bending down and moving about on my knees as part of my job and I have found my regular work trousers don’t last longer than a couple of wears. Do Helly Hansen have something that will be able to withstand what I put them through?
A. The Helly Hansen Ashford Knee Pad work trouser should be ideal for you. They are super hard wearing and the removal knee pad means you can move around comfortably without hurting your knees or ruining your work trousers.
Q. I currently spend a lot of time working outdoors and although we don’t get great weather it has be unusually hot lately. I usually wear long trousers but they have been making me really uncomfortable lately, do Helly Hansen have any work wear shorts that would be suitable to wear for work?
A. The Helly Hansen Ashford work shorts are just what you need. From the same line as of Helly Hansen Ashford Knee Pad work trousers, they are extremely hard wearing and comfortable.
Q. I need a work jacket that will keep me dry but I don’t want something that will make me sweat. What would you suggest?
A. Without knowing the exact requirements of the work jacket you need I would not like to suggest just one of our products. What I would suggest you do is take a look at our work jackets section which is sure to have something to suit you. The Hannover work jacket and the Jena work jacket are both waterproof and breathable so could be what you’re looking for.
Q. I have been tasked with purchasing a number of workwear tops for our workforce which look smart but also have our logo on them, is this something Helly Hansen Workwear can help with?
A. Here at Helly Hansen Workwear we have a wide variety of workwear tops including Tee Shirts, Polo Shirts, Sweatshirts and even High Visibility workwear tops. Once you have decided which of our workwear tops fits with your requirements, Helly Hansen Workwear will be happy to brand it for you with your company logo.
Q. I spend most of my time up a ladder with a hammer and nails, usually I just put them in my pocket but I have noticed the nails have begun putting holes in them and I’m worried the hammer may fall through. Do Helly Hansen have anything to help?
A. Why not get yourself a Helly Hansen Workwear Hammer Holder, Hammer Holder Strap and a Nails Pocket. The Hammer Holder and Strap can be worn both left and right handed so is suitable for everyone and the nails pocket is super durable so won’t get holes in it and the bonus is that it can be clipped onto any of our work trousers or work jackets.
Q. I am due to start a job where I will be working outdoors after dark, and knowing this country, in the rain. Do Helly Hansen Workwear have any High Visibility work jackets that will keep me warm and keep me dry?
A. Helly Hansen Workwear have a number of High Visibility work jackets available that would be just what you need in our HV Waterproof section. Without knowing what colour you need/would like I am reluctant to recommend just one work jacket but I am sure there is something in that section that will keep you both warm and dry and most importantly, visible after dark.
Q. I have been told I need a certain type of survival suit for work and I can’t seem to find it on your website. Also, you don’t seem to have any prices listed on the site, is this because you don’t stock them.
A. Firstly, we do stock survival suits but we don’t show prices as every situation requires a particular suit so it would be wrong to quote a standard price. Secondly, we don’t put all of our Survival Suits on the site for the exact same reason, everyone has different needs and requirements. Q. I have been tasked with purchasing some fleece work jackets but I don’t want the ones with only half a zip, do you have any with full zips?
A. We have two fleece work jacket sections, Fleece Workwear and Fiberpile Fleece Workwear, and nearly all of our fleeces have a full zip for maximum comfort.
Q. I need to get myself some flame retardant work clothing, is that something Helly Hansen sell?
A. Yes, we have a large flame retardant clothing section which includes underwear, fleeces, jackets, trousers and more.
Q. I bought a pair of your Ashford Knee Pad work trousers quite some time ago and if possible I would like to replace the knee pads, do you sell the separately or do I need to buy a new pair of the work trousers.
A. Yes we do sell the knee pads separately, you will find them in our workwear accessories section.
